Welcome to the American College of Surgeons' (ACS) CME Platform!
To initiate the CME process for an educational activity, please
log in
first, and then visit the "My Activities" tab on the navigation bar and click the "Start New Application" button.
The CME Platform is a web-based system designed to navigate through the CME process for both
ACS and PartnerCME Joint Providership Program educational activities.
The ACS provides accreditation for the following educational formats:
- Live meetings
- Live internet courses
- Internet enduring materials
- Journals
- Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS)
- Manuscript Reviews
- "Other" non-traditional learning opportunities (i.e. hybrid-live and enduring content, social media learning)
In order to receive accreditation through the
American College of Surgeons, the following steps are required for each
educational activity. All required materials will be submitted 90 days in
advance of the event.
- Submit the CME Planning Activity Form through the ACS CME Process Portal.
- Download and complete all required documents provided inside the ACS CME Process Portal.
- Upload Disclosures Forms and Disclosure Forms with Mitigation (if applicable) for all individuals in a position to affect content (including planners, content developers, moderators, faculty, authors, and presenters). Planning Committee Disclosure Forms must be submitted prior to the planning or development of an educational activity.
- CME will not be granted until all Disclosure Forms, Disclosure Forms with mitigation are received and approved.
- Submit all program materials, Letters of Agreement (if applicable), and marketing materials.
- Submit payment
